Nightraid

Review by: WilsonNightraid This map is set in a small village at nighttime with a German Base at the back of the map where two Flak 88s are sitting waiting for the Allies to Explode. Presentation / Technical The textures used on this map are very nice, they also dont give you a bad FPS either, and mine was quite high in most places on the map apart from the buildings when it dropped to about 30. The buildings are the things I didnt really like, sure I loved the look of them from the outside and the wallpaper inside was very nice but where were the objects, in one house all there was in it was a bed? I thought that was not a very good thing in the map. Also I like the sounds in the background you hear Sea Gulls like you are near a beach, which I thought was great. Playability / Game Flaws The performance of this map is quite good, the FPS was high in most parts of the which made it very smooth all through the game until you got into the houses where it dropped to 30 from around 70 - 90 but that is not a real problem as that should not cause you much trouble. I didnt notice any Game Flaws accept maybe he could have made the switch in the guard house move up or down when used to open the main gate, even though you can just walk around it. Conclusion I really think Cyborg has talent in map-making. He really knows how to make a person with a rubbish graphics card happy. I really like the barrier that opens going into the base and the bunker is rather complex which is good. I got lost once or twice cause some of it looks similar. I like the doors in the floor outside that slide open going into some stairs with an underground passage leading to the other Flak. I really like this map and I recommend you download it.
